Reluctant! with Janine

The series follows the erratic late-night broadcasting schedule of a community access station in 2005. Host Janine, pushes guest interviews to absurd extremes on cheap studio sets, while local music programs showcase loud underground punk acts. Intercut with dry civic affairs updates and psychedelic vintage graphics, the programming blurs reality television and surreal parody. Camera style: Multi-camera standard-definition video with analog tape scanlines, handheld zooms, and harsh studio switching.
