Skybound

Skybound is an adventure series set across a sprawling world of floating islands, rusted sky ports, and ancient airborne ruins drifting above an endless sea of clouds. Air travel is heavily regulated by the militarized Sky Authority, and scavenging old-world technology without permission is considered a serious crime. Naturally, that is exactly how Riven Vale makes his money. Riven is a reckless sky scavenger with a talent for finding valuable machinery in places most people are too smart to enter. Armed with a patched-up glider, a fake cargo license, and an unhealthy amount of confidence, he spends his days looting ancient ruins and selling vintage tech to blacksmiths, underground engineers, and whoever pays in actual coin. Backing him up is Aeri, the crew’s navigator and intel specialist. She handles maps, patrol schedules, city gossip, stolen Authority reports, and the difficult task of keeping Riven alive despite his commitment to improvising every plan halfway through it. The third member of the crew is Solun, a former Sky Authority officer who defected after uncovering how corrupt the system really was. Quiet, disciplined, and far too competent to be traveling with these idiots, Solun often acts as the only thing standing between the crew and immediate disaster. Together, the trio drifts from city to city chasing rumors of lost technology, hidden vaults, abandoned sky stations, and illegal opportunities. The jobs rarely go smoothly. Someone usually gets chased, blown up, arrested briefly, or banned from another port.
