A skatepark in broad daylight, a dark alley in the dead of night. For this kid, the city is just a dull space begging to be rewritten. Swapping the board for a spray can comes with a flat rate: flashing red lights, sirens, and a ride in the back seat of a cruiser. It’s poetic, or maybe just a bad joke, that the ultimate crime against public order is daring to stain a wall orange just to demand a little imagination. Sometimes, the real masterpiece is the smirk of someone who knows the paint isn't going anywhere.
