[suspenseful music] Recording timestamp 0847. Military logs predate Allegiance Foundation by three decades. This shouldn't be possible. [alarm blaring] Lockdown initiated. Someone knows I'm here. Aegis Ring Station compromised. Evacuation protocol activated. [ship exploding] No. Saiki, if you're receiving this, leave Aegis immediately. The Allegiance is collapsing. Dorian, how did you get this frequency? I've been tracking your investigation. You found what I found. Now we survive what comes next. [ship exploding] Dorian, I'm heading to Horizon Harbor. If you're alive, be there. There's someone you need to meet, Commander Sara Vale. She knows about the conspiracy. I don't trust anyone. Then trust this. She can protect what you found. Personal note, timestamp 0852 hours. The conspiracy is real. The Allegiance is finished. Now I find out who I can trust. [alarm blaring] Saiku, hold position. Do not engage the retrieval ships. Give me one reason I shouldn't burn through your perimeter. Because I'm the one who decloaked them to keep you alive. [machine beeping] Commander, that unauthorized explorer should be intercepted. He's a security breach. [laughs] He has something the conspirers want destroyed. He has something want destroyed. You're going to let him land, Crackle, or I arrest you for treason right now. [suspenseful music] Saiki, Commander Sara Vale. Your data stays with you. You stay with me. Agreed? You know what's on my recorder. I know enough. I know someone wanted you dead. I know the conspiracy is inside our military, and I know it runs deeper than either of us imagined. Then what happens next? You stop being a freelancer right now. You're part of my command structure. Protect this convoy and the data you carry. And Saiki, watch for traitors. There are more of them than we think. The Explorer has the records. Sara is protecting him. Proceed with contingency protocol. And if she intercepts? Then she becomes part of the contingency. [machine beeping] [suspenseful music] That's him. That's the one who knew. He was investigating them. Saiku, the bay is sealing now. [ship exploding] Cross sent me for Allo-GOG 32. He never said why. Because it proves this collapse was planned from inside the Allegiance. Then you're not leaving here alone. [ship flying] You were right about the archives, but the Pale Shore isn't empty. Then why destroy the Allegiance? To control who survives and who reaches it first. [ship exploding] We get everyone aboard, we take them to Sara's coordinates, and then we find out what the Pale Shore really is. [suspenseful music] Timestamp 0900. 40,000 survivors, 17 days to the Pale Shore. Multiple conspirators aboard. But I've survived worse. The data proves conspiracy, but not motive. Destroying a civilization takes planning, resources, and power beyond the military alone. Three compromised pods just broke formation, heading for navigation core. I've been tracking your investigation for months. I knew someone was gathering evidence. I used that. You manipulated me. I kept you alive. Your evidence proves the attack came from inside the Allegiance. That changes everything. [machine beeping] This is an exploration technology. That's why they destroyed the Allegiance. The truth about the Pale Shore threatens their entire operation. Then we're not heading towards safety. We're heading towards a battleground. I'll investigate the Pale Shore. I'll find out what's really there. But Sara, if you're lying to me about this... Then we're all dead in 17 days anyway. Trust irrelevant. Survival is all that matters now. [machine beeping] Exodus arrival confirmed. Welcome to the Pale Shore. Saiki, we're cleared to proceed. Log AB-32. They were expecting us. [ship flying] Maintain shore approach vector. Horizon coordinates transmitted. That's our destination. Coordinates confirmed. [ship flying] Pale Shore control. Horizon access confirmed. Cleared for descent. Saiki, Commander Sara Vale. Saiki, prepare for entry. Log 32. [machine beeping] Beginning descent. [ship flying] [alarm blaring] Stay on the corridor. I have it. [machine beeping] Log 32. This planet was never empty. [radio chat] Let's see if they had anything to do with what happened You actually made it. I need people I can trust. Then I'm in. [suspenseful music] What do you need? Someone who can tell us what they built here. Then you've found her. [machine beeps] The Allegiance didn't simply collapse. You think someone planned it? That's what I'm trying to prove. Then you're going to need help. You need a scout? I need someone who can go where the rest of us can't. Then I'm coming. [suspenseful music] They found the Pale Shore. Then our problem survived. Your orders, contain or erase? Find Psyche. And the others? Watch them. [machine beeps] You always this quiet? Only when I'm thinking. [machine beeps] Saiku, look at the date. These records shouldn't be here. [machine beeps] That's impossible. No. Someone knew. Saiku, someone is tracing us right now. [machine beeps] They had this before the attack. Then the Pale Shore knew something was coming. [sighs] Saiku, my HFD is picking up a bio signification inside the archive. [sighs] Someone just locked us out. Which means someone's watching. [machine beeps] Found you. [sighs] They knew about the exodus before it happened. And now we know about you.
