Parlor Society is a character-driven mystery set inside a grand boarding house where elegance masks something deeply wrong. As Detective Falmberg P. Crumley investigates the disappearance of George Ashcombe, he encounters shifting architecture, fractured memory, and a group of residents who continue their routines as if nothing has changed. The deeper he looks, the more the house resists him — quietly altering details, obscuring the past, and erasing what does not belong. What begins as a missing person case slowly becomes something more unsettling: a question of what can be remembered, what is allowed to remain, and whether the truth itself can disappear.
