Jack, Janine, and Gordo head into the middle of nowhere to investigate a lonely roadside café with a strange nightly tradition. Every night at exactly 2:00 AM, the same mysterious customer walks through the door, orders the same coffee, and sits at the same booth. There’s just one problem: the customer has been dead for years. As the team digs into the café’s history, they discover that this isn’t simply a haunting—it’s a routine that something on the other side desperately wants to keep repeating. And when Jack realizes the ghost may be waiting for someone who never showed up, the investigation takes a much stranger turn. Some missed connections are impossible to reconnect. Others refuse to stay dead.

[gentle music] [car screeching] [door thudding] I like this place. You would. Can we please just get the equipment out, guys? [upbeat jazz music] [groans] You're the one who called? Yeah. Tell me about the customer. He comes in every night at 2:00. Same guy? Same guy. And you're sure he's dead? Pretty sure. [door slamming] [wind howling] [zip unfastening] This'll work. For what? Base camp. Out in the night, where the shadows dance. A flashlight beam, my only glance. Every creak and groan, it's a ghostly chance. Or maybe it's just the floor. I hear them whisper, I hear them scream. But is it real or just a dream? Ghost safari, hunting what I can't see. [upbeat jazz music] Thomas Bell died here in a fire in 1958. He shows up every night? Coffee, apple pie, every night at 2:00 a.m. [camera clicking] Why this booth specifically? That's where he sat when he was alive. Makes sense. [machine beeping] You brought a coffee maker? You brought a gun. Fair. [door slamming] They have six different pies available. Hooray. [tense music] [footsteps shuffling] Cold. [door opening] [sniffing] Also cold. [door opening] Very cold. [tense music] [door opening] That's not there anymore. [keyboard clacking] [computer beeping] [computer beeping] And married to Evelyn Carter. [computer beeping] She was supposed to meet him but got there after the fire. He never got to say goodbye. [dramatic music]

When a ghostly attendant demands the towel back, they realize he’s trapped in a memory he can’t let go of. Now they have to solve the mystery before the bathhouse claims another permanent resident. Meanwhile, Dutchmiller is stuck at headquarters. Which is its own kind of haunting.

Jack follows Clara back to her isolated farmhouse, determined to understand why the young girl remains there despite her parents having vanished. Inside the strange 1840s home, Clara reveals more about her family—and Jack begins to realize that whatever is keeping her there may be far more sinister than a simple haunting. Meanwhile, Gordon strikes up an unlikely friendship with a bizarre paranormal travel agent who seems to know far too much about the supernatural—and perhaps about Jack’s investigation. Back at the investigation, Janine uncovers a disturbing truth about Clara, her home, and the mysterious Room 13. What she discovers suggests that Jack may not be investigating a haunting at all… but something that has been waiting for him to arrive.
