We're back. I'm Jack Mercer. We just heard from Eliza in Flag-- Looks like we have a call. [button clicks] You're on, caller. Name and where you're calling from. Hi, this is Eliza from Flagstaff. Welcome back, Eliza. Seems we were cut off earlier. I haven't called in before. Oh, it happened again. Eliza, where are you now? Are you safe? I'm in the closet in my daughter's room. Don't move. Is your daughter in there with you? I'm safe. I was just checking on my daughter. I was just standing there, staring at Lizeth as she slept. She was sleeping like usual. I don't know why I was holding the pillow in my hands. [gasps] I put it in the car to get rid of it once and for all. You're not coming back home, dolly. [car crashes] I don't know how it happened, but I hit something. [gasps] Eliza, what did you hit, and where is your daughter? I was standing outside my car. It was just a deer, but the doll was gone. Eliza, you still haven't told me where your daughter was during all of this. I dragged the deer off the road and looked for the doll. I knew my daughter was at home resting. At least, I felt that. [button clicks] You said you felt that... Were you not sure you'd left her? [gasps] I was home, and the house smelled like gasoline. I don't remember bringing this inside. [screams] You don't belong here. You never did. [screams] We're getting out right now, baby. [gasps] Eliza, Eliza, are you there? [button clicks] Looks like we lost Eliza again. Back after this short break. [sighs] [outro music]
